With facts, stories, Scripture, and sometimes humor, a pastor's wife, RN, certified lactation consultant, and childbirth educator presents breastfeeding and birth from a Christian perspective. Occasionally I will drift into another topic which MIGHT be related to birth and breastfeeding. "1 Peter 2:2-3" examines the beautiful picture of why Jesus chose mother's milk to describe the Word of God.

Required "Cookies Alert"
When I checked this blog after it has been "dormant" for quite a while since my last post, there was some information about cookies, about which I know nothing. Breast milk, yes, cookies, no. I have not set any cookies on this blog, but perhaps . . . and again I don't have a clue . . . some entity has. I also understand, I think, that any links in this blog can have digital cookies associated with them. So, if you don't like digital cookies, be aware that there could be some associated with this blog. I think you can clean them out, but considering how much the Internet and electronic monitoring has progressed, I can't tell you with any certainty that all cookies or methods of monitoring you travel around the 'net can be eliminated. You can do a search to find out how to do so. Or, you can talk with someone who is much more literate and knowledgeable than I about such things to find out what you might want to do. Here is a "warning" I saw on another website that might apply here: "This site uses cookies to
simplify and improve your usage and experience of this website. Cookies
are small text files stored on the device you are using to access this
website. If you ignore this message and continue without changing your
browser settings, we will assume that you are consenting to our use of
cookies." Other than that, I don't know what else to tell you or "warn" you about regarding "cookies", except that the "lactation cookies" have not been shown, at this point, to be effective-- just expensive -- if you purchase them.
